After spending my childhood in Swampscott Massachusetts performing Shakespeare with a local children's theatre company, singing at the Boston Conservatory and acting at Emerson Summer Stage, I decided to leave home at 14 to attend Miss Porter's School. Here, my pursuit of music and theatre deepened and my interest for international politics and French cinema sprouted. These influential educational years grounded me in my belief that curiosity fuels art and that artists must thrive to educate themselves in order to be a conscious and influential global citizen.

I challenged myself to uphold this standard throughout my following career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This belief encouraged me to take my studies to Montpellier, France where I enrolled in a French music school to learn guitar, participated in experimental voice workshops in the foothills of Les Cevennes, and shot my first documentary with local filmmakers. When I graduated from Chapel Hill in 2013 I moved to New York immediately and brought these experiences with me to help inform my career as an actor and writer.

From the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Williamstown Theatre Festival, to shooting a bicoastal feature film and playing the lead in an independent short, it is that innate curiosity that pushes me to work diligently and thoughtfully to tell each story with a fresh perspective.

If you have any questions or comments I'd love to hear them. Thank you for your interest and please keep checking back for updates.
